柳江區(qū)石材資源豐富，品質(zhì)優(yōu)良。已探明的大理石儲(chǔ)量近2億萬噸，大理石資源主要分布在成團(tuán)，里高等鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)，根據(jù)已探明的儲(chǔ)量，大理石開采的空間，開采潛力及深加工前景都非常大。

  為了能充分利用境內(nèi)石材資源，變石材優(yōu)勢(shì)為商品優(yōu)勢(shì)，打造石材產(chǎn)業(yè)，壯大區(qū)內(nèi)經(jīng)濟(jì)，擴(kuò)大就業(yè)，增加農(nóng)民收入，柳江區(qū)黨委、區(qū)政府已經(jīng)將里高大理石開采加工作為一個(gè)產(chǎn)業(yè)，列入十四五規(guī)劃，并在2021年黨委政府工作報(bào)告中明確提出要建設(shè)里高大理石加工產(chǎn)業(yè)園。為了進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大企業(yè)的規(guī)模和帶動(dòng)當(dāng)?shù)氐陌l(fā)展，育鵬礦業(yè)公司計(jì)劃在高鎮(zhèn)板六村322國(guó)道旁建設(shè)一個(gè)石材產(chǎn)業(yè)園區(qū)和碳酸鈣粉廠，初步規(guī)劃面積1200畝左右，預(yù)計(jì)總投資30億元人民幣，里高石材產(chǎn)業(yè)園的建設(shè)，對(duì)于柳江區(qū)資源利用，經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展，促進(jìn)就業(yè)有一定推動(dòng)作用，育鵬礦業(yè)愿與柳江區(qū)政府?dāng)y手，共同推進(jìn)園區(qū)的開發(fā)建設(shè)，實(shí)現(xiàn)共贏，為美好柳江做出貢獻(xiàn)!
